2026-2027 Volunteer Opportunities

We are in need of a enthusiastic, reliable volunteer to bring some added excitement for Freshman and Jr. Varsity home games. The announcer will serve as the voice of home games providing a professional, high-energy, and encouraging commentary to support student athletes.

Throughout Football Season-This crew supports the team throughout the entire football season! Members must arrive by 6:00 PM for all Home Games and 5:00 PM for Away Games. The team works together every Friday night to transport and set up the tunnel and the horn so our players can make an unforgettable entrance. Field passes will be provided. Setup help will also be needed for the Black & Gold Game on May 8th. One person will need to serve as the Lead and coordinate volunteers for each game.

Most Fundraising will occur in Spring and Summer-This committee will work alongside the VP of Fundraising to secure sponsors and raise important funds that support our players and coaches. No experience needed—just a willingness to jump in, help out, and bring your team spirit!

Throughout Football Season-Pick up, deliver, and distribute team meals to the players and coaches at Plano East on game day. The Varsity team meal should be delivered no later than 3:30 PM to ensure everyone is fueled up and ready to compete!

November/December-This committee will plan and execute a special evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work and achievements of the Freshman and JV teams. Responsibilities include coordinating the venue, decor, and event-day logistics. One volunteer will need to serve as committee chair and communicate plans to the board.

August/September-We are seeking a dedicated team of volunteers to help plan, execute, and make our Mother/Son Brunch a special and memorable event! This will consist of theme selection, decor, food selection, activities, and day-of logistics. One volunteer will need to serve as committee chair and communicate plans with the board.

Throughout Football Season- We are seeking a Media Guides Sales Coordinator to lead and manage all media guide sales for the upcoming football season. This volunteer role is responsible for scheduling volunteers to sell media guides at all Varsity, JV, and Freshman home games. The coordinator will also collaborate with other school groups—such as cheer, band, and booster organizations—to ensure smooth and coordinated sales efforts throughout the season.

Morning of Varsity Game Day-Bring the spirit! We’re looking for a coordinator to plan, organize, and serve a high‑energy Varsity Team Breakfast for our players and coaches on the morning of every Varsity game. Light cleanup may follow each meal. You’ll also team up with the VP of Fundraising to lock in exciting breakfast sponsorships throughout the season.

Join our communications team and help manage social media platforms and/or the Booster Club newsletter. You will work play a key role in promoting our program, celebrating our athletes, and keeping families and the community informed and engaged throughout the season.
